My deepest sympathies to Alexa and family. Shante was a very special person that would do anything for anyone. She loved her daughter, and it showed. I know she was a great friend / mentor to Millicent Gibson, as well. My sympathies to you as well Millicent. My prayers are for strength and GOD's comforting hands for Shante's familiy and friends. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Shante. I saw her a few years ago at when she came to rehearsal for a concert we were doing for our music teacher. Her smile was bright and vibrant as always.
