Randy & Rochelle,
My heartfelt sympathy is with you... May memories of happier times sustain you & ease your sorrow...
Your dad was gracious, humble, & charitable - a Blessing to Humanity!
He was intelligent & curious. A man who relished challenging crosswords & good books. This equated to many engaging conversations; the best taking place in the warm glow of your fireplace.
He delighted in grocery shopping & good bargains. I enjoyed his homemade sausage and Zesty horseradish.
I still laugh about the time we were going out to lunch with Mrs. L. Mr L declined to go, but when told we were going for pizza (his favorite parlor), He said "oh, that's a good one!" & beat us to the car :)
He could be mischievous (along with his partner Randy). Like sneaking treats to "the boys," his favorite cats (twinkle in his eyes).
He was a man of great courage- a formidable foe to the many afflictions that came his way.
Having been denied the pleasure of golf in later years - he is now "out of the rough." I envision him renewed & basking in the warmth of God's loving light, bringing his "A" game to Heaven's Course, prepared just for him...
May God Bless & Comfort You Both,
Pam
