Ronald A. Sasveld

Ronald “Ron” A;  Sasveld , age 56 passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was born on May 27, 1961 at Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park IL Ron is survived by his loving companion and best friend of many years Suzanne Principali; his son Ronald Jr. Sasveld (Kristey Faust); his mother Mary (Alsterda) Sasveld, grandson Isaiah Sasveld; brother Glenn (Cindi) Sasveld; nieces Jessica & Kelsey Sasveld, nephew Lucas Sasveld as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Sasveld, maternal grandmother Fannie Alsterda and paternal grandparents John & Clara Sasveld. Ron was an avid lifetime White Sox fan growing up on the south side in Worth IL where he graduated from Chicago Christian High School. He adored the cats he and Sue raised as their children in particular Patches. He loved to travel and enjoyed exploring new restaurants and wines. He was easy to talk to, had a very quick wit and wicked sense of humor which will be sorely missed by all lucky enough to know him. Visitation is this Friday July 14, 2017 from 2-6 pm with funeral service beginning at 6pm at Lain- Sullivan Funeral Home 50 Westwood Dr. Park Forest, IL 60466  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
